Large Red Damselfly records are starting to pick up across the county with Warwick Davies spotting a few adults at his pond near Oswestry and Peta Sams recording an adult basking in the sun in Ludlow. The larval course at Preston Montford FSC also gave us a chance to study Large Red Damselfly larvae, adults and exuviae- all in one day. The exuviae and adults were photographed by Richard Knisely- Marpole:
Richard also took a great shot of a hawker larvae having a spot of lunch!
