Common Blue Damselfly enjoying the sun!

Very pleased to actually report some sightings myself today- Common Blue Damselfly recently emerged from it's nearby exuvia at a fishery pond near Pontesbury. The good news is I had a pot for the exuvia, the bad news- no camera! To my knowledge this is the first Shropshire sighting of this species this year and is surprisingly early. Azure Damselflies as seen by Warwick yesterday are known to emerge earlier in the year, but Common Blue Damselfly more typically emerges much later in the month. I also saw a number of Large Red Damselflies both emerging and in flight.
