Late sightings

Good to hear from Warwick Davies who has been keeping an eye on the latecomers. Common Blue Damselfly seen (below) along with Southern Hawker at a newly built scrape near Edgerley on 7th September.

Warwick's own pond near Oswestry has also been visited by Southern Hawkers and Common Darters on 30th September, the latter being seen in cop:


And later still, Common Darters and Southern Hawker seen near Llynclys Quarry on 4th October. I suspect there are still a few dragonflies on the wing as things haven't got really cold yet....so do please keep me posted....
