Jonathan Groom was up at Brown Moss near Whitchurch on 7th August enjoying numerous Brown Hawkers on the wing as well as Ruddy Darter, Common Blue Damselfly and a relatively late Azure Damselfly. Jay Mitchell also recorded recorded Ruddy Darter at this spot 2 days later and snapped the photo below:
Elsewhere Paul Hopwood was catching up on records from a few weeks ago and sent in some lovely shots of a female Blue-tailed Damselfly (immature form rufescens) and a female Emperor ovipositing- both seen in Maesbrook.
