An old record for Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly has just come to light- recorded by David Williams in 2008 at Langleyfields, Dawley. The photograph below shows the female in the striking immature aurantiaca form:

Obviously this is some time ago and populations of this species do disappear all to readily, but it's worth keeping an eye out...
