Possible sighting of Emerald Damselfly

Fabulous weather and lots of records coming in including a possible sighting of Emerald Damselfly at Whixall Moss by Meurig Garbutt on 20th June. Unfortunately no photos due to Meurig doing battle with biting insects- something I can sympathise with having fed many a mosquito at Whixall! Also seen were White-faced Darters, Four-spotted Chasers, Southern Hawker, Azure and Large Red Damsels.
Barrie Smith has also been back at Whixall and recorded Brown Hawker along with many of those mentioned above. He also took a photo of the female White-faced Darter and one of the male- slightly less fortunate.....entitled food chain!
